#135925 — Bus hub stop

Baisha library

Baisha Library stop is an important bus transfer point for travel between Magong and the Penghu North Loop — particularly toward Tongliang and Wai-an. Three city routes serve this stop, connecting visitors heading to Tongliang Banyan, Wai-an Fishing Port, and attractions near Xiyu and the Penghu Bay Bridge. Baisha Township occupies the northwest of Penghu’s main island, bordering the Penghu Cross-Sea Bridge, making this stop a natural starting point for North Loop day trips and a convenient return point into Magong. The stop sits directly beside the Baisha Township Library, so it is easy to identify; the waiting area is simple and uncrowded. Whether you are a local commuter or a visitor arriving by ferry, this stop provides an essential link between the North Loop and Magong city center.

Location

The stop is in Baisha Village, Baisha Township, next to the Baisha Township Library. A basic sheltered waiting area with clearly posted route information makes orientation straightforward. About a 5-minute walk to the northwest is Tongliang Banyan — Penghu’s oldest banyan tree at over 300 years old and one of the island’s most photographed landmarks. To the west, the Penghu Bay Bridge and Xiyu attractions are roughly 10–15 minutes away by bus. Baisha Township is defined by open rural scenery and aquaculture ponds, with farming and fishing as the main livelihoods. The area around the stop is quiet, with no commercial cluster nearby — a good place to pause and explore surrounding fishing villages, historic sites, and countryside.
