Chihkan North is an important transfer point on the Magong–Siyu corridor. Routes 0758 and 0762 run throughout the day, and Route 0798 provides an additional evening service — three routes in total. Local commuters traveling between Siyu’s Tongliang Ancient Banyan area and Wai-an fishing harbor, as well as visitors exploring Tongliang’s heritage sites or the scenic coastal stretches between Magong and Siyu, commonly use Chihkan North as a transfer point. Located on the main arterial road between Magong and Siyu, bus services here are relatively stable, making it a key node in Penghu’s inter-district transit network.

Chihkan North stop is located along the road from Magong City toward Siyu Township, with a shelter offering a basic roof and route signage. Heading from Magong City toward Siyu, you gradually enter Siyu Township after passing this stop. The surrounding area is a mix of residential and agricultural land, suited to commuting by scooter or bus between the two areas.

Route 0758 (Magong ↔ Wai-an) runs every 1–2 hours, operating all day from 06:55 to 21:40. Route 0762 (Magong ↔ Tongliang Ancient Banyan) has multiple daytime sub-trips (sub-routes 22A–22E and others), with the first departure at 06:35 and the last outbound trip around 18:30; last return from Tongliang is 19:15 (TDX confirmed). Route 0798 is an evening-only service: 20:30 from Magong → Tongliang → Wai-an, returning at 21:50.
