Magong 3rd Harbor stop sits on Tonghe Road, directly alongside one of Penghu’s most active fishing piers. It is the convergence point for three urban routes — the Magong North Loop, Magong–Huxi, and Magong South Penghu lines — linking Magong City center, Huxi Township, and the southern reaches of the archipelago. The stop sees a steady mix of local fishermen heading to and from the harbor, wholesale seafood buyers, and visitors curious to see Penghu’s fishing industry in action.
Location
The shelter is positioned along Tonghe Road No. 100, facing the third berth area of Magong Fishing Port. It stands close to the fish-distribution center; the pier edge is a 5-minute walk, putting you right where boats tie up and unload. Nearby you will find fresh-catch retail stalls, seafood snack vendors, and a car park — the area is busy throughout the day. To reach the Magong commercial district (Zhongzheng Road), board the Magong North Loop for a roughly 10-minute ride; for Huxi Township, the Magong–Huxi line takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
Useful Tips
All three routes share the same shelter. Before boarding, confirm the route number — 0162, 0164, or 0165 — displayed on the front of the bus. Most last departures are between 21:00 and 22:30. From October to March, strong northeast monsoon winds can delay services by 10–15 minutes, and the harbor road may flood briefly at high tide. Checking the real-time arrivals on this page or asking staff near the shelter before departure is advised.
