The stop is a common transfer point for local commuters and visitors heading toward Tongliang Banyan or continuing across the Cross-Sea Bridge into Xiyu.

Watong West is located in the Watong area of Baisha Township, on the main road between Magong and Tongliang. The surroundings are quiet, with farmland and residential homes typical of Baisha Township. Continuing west on the main road leads to the Tongliang Banyan (300-year-old banyan, a well-known scenic and cultural site) and then across the Cross-Sea Bridge into Xiyu Township.

Travel Tips

Before boarding, confirm the route number — 0758, 0762, or 0798 — on the stop sign. Daytime services depart in the early morning between 6:00 and 7:00 AM, with the last buses running around 8–9 PM. The evening Route 0798 runs on its own schedule, departing Magong at 20:30 with the last return around 21:50.
