The Living Museum stop is on Xinsheng Road in Magong City, serving as a key transit point connecting the city centre with scenic spots on Penghu’s northern and southern circuits. Four bus routes converge here — the Guanghua Line, Wukan Circular Line, Shanshui Line, and Fengguei Line — offering direct access to Penghu’s notable natural and cultural attractions, whether you are arriving from the airport, Magong Harbour, or based in the city. The Penghu Living Museum itself, which gives the stop its name, is worth a visit for its exhibits on local fishing village culture and traditional ways of life. The museum is open Tuesday–Sunday 09:00–17:00 (closed Thursdays and on Lunar New Year’s Eve).
Location
The stop is on Xinsheng Road, beside the Penghu Living Museum building. The Minzu Road commercial area of Magong city centre is a 5-minute walk; the Four-Eyed Well historic site and Zhongzheng Road Old Street are within 10 minutes on foot. For those heading south to the sea erosion caves at Fengguei or the Shanshui community, buses from this stop take just 15–20 minutes. Magong Harbour is also within walking distance (about 15 minutes), and many ferry passengers choose to transfer to city buses here.
Travel Tips
Four routes share a single shelter, so confirm the route number before boarding — Line 0761 Guanghua, Line 0765 Wukan Circular, Line 0773 Shanshui, and Line 0777 Fengguei each serve different destinations and run on separate schedules. Per the TDX snapshot, last departures are: Wukan Circular 0765 at 20:45, Guanghua 0761 at 20:15, Fengguei 0777 around 19:00, and Shanshui 0773 around 17:25. Note that Guanghua Line 0761 runs only 2 departures per day (17:30 and 20:15) — confirm the timetable before travelling. During the winter northeast monsoon season, some routes may be affected by strong winds — check real-time updates on this page before heading out. Summer sun is intense; bring a hat and drinking water.
