Eight minutes’ walk west brings you to Tianhou Temple, one of the most actively worshipped temples in Penghu and a focal point of local religious life; the square in front fills with crowds during the annual Mazu Birthday celebrations. A further 10 minutes south stands Siyan Well, a historic well dating to 1823 whose story mirrors Magong’s evolution from water scarcity to a modern water supply system. The county government area is located to the north along Xinsheng Road — convenient for passengers on administrative errands.

Five routes share this stop, so check the route number before boarding: Route 0761 (Guanghua), Route 0764 (Qianliao), Route 0765 (Wukan Loop), Route 0773 (Shanshui), and Route 0777 (Fenggui) each serve different destinations at different frequencies. First departures are generally between 6:45 AM and 7:35 AM; most last buses depart between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, except Route 0761 (Guanghua) which ends at 5:30 PM. Route 0765 (Wukan Loop)‘s first bus departs at 7:05 AM. During winter months when northeast monsoon winds are strong, services to Fenggui and Shanshui may run late in adverse weather; check live arrivals before setting out.
