Magong Commercial Harbor is a small transit hub in Penghu’s harbor area. Three bus routes serve this stop, primarily connecting harbor workers, fishing vessel crews, and commuters traveling to Beiliao, Jianshan, and Qinglo. The stop is on the harbor-facing side of Zhongshan Road — roughly a 5-minute walk from the Magong Harbor fish market and 10–15 minutes from the Magong Bus Terminal — making it a convenient link between the port and the city’s trunk bus network.
Location
The stop is a simple open-air shelter on the harbor side of Zhongshan Road, with no indoor waiting area. Nearby on foot: the Magong Harbor parking lot and fish cold-storage facility (3 minutes), the Penghu County Fishermen’s Association (5 minutes), and the Magong Bus Terminal and Zhongzheng Road commercial area (15 minutes). This harbor-access road is exposed to salt air, which is particularly strong during the northeast monsoon in winter.
Travel Tips
Limited departures — check ahead: Services at Magong Commercial Harbor are infrequent. Per the TDX snapshot: Beiliao Line 0759 has only 2–3 departures per day; Jianshan Loop 0767 runs multiple daily trips; Qingluo Line 0768 runs 4 departures per day. Check the real-time arrival data or the printed timetable before heading to the stop.
Key departures: Beiliao Line 0759 (around 07:10), Jianshan Loop Line 0767 (06:29 and 08:12), Qinglo Line 0768 (07:45 and 10:32). Actual schedules vary by date and season; winter service may be reduced.
Short dwell time: Buses do not wait for late passengers, and a full bus will not board additional riders. Arrive 5–10 minutes before the scheduled departure.
Limited parking in the harbor area: The surrounding roads are harbor access routes with few parking spaces. Use the Magong Harbor parking lot or take a taxi. In winter, the northeast monsoon brings strong, damp sea winds — dress in a windproof layer.
