#136078 — Bus hub stop

Penghu visitor center

Penghu Visitor Center is the first bus stop visitors encounter after landing at Penghu Airport. Located directly beside the terminal, five routes call here — including the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Airport Express to central Magong and local buses serving the southern and western loop townships. Many independent travelers transfer here immediately after landing, heading to guesthouses, attractions, or car rental shops. The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Airport Express runs most frequently and suits visitors in a hurry; local routes run less often but offer an authentic way to experience everyday Penghu.

Location

The visitor center sits on the south side of the Penghu Airport terminal, roughly a 5–10 minute walk from the terminal exit. Bus stops are marked under an open-air waiting shelter with clear signage. A service desk inside the terminal provides timetable inquiries, ticket purchases, and transfer information. The surrounding area includes airport parking and dining facilities, so visitors can grab a meal or pick up supplies before boarding.

Travel Tips

Five routes serve the Visitor Center — confirm your destination and route number before boarding. The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Airport Express 0167 runs most frequently, with departures every 30–60 minutes direct to the Minzu Road commercial district in Magong, operating until around 8:00 PM. Other local routes run less often (most every 1–2 hours), with last departures generally between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM; check the airport visitor service desk for exact schedules. The service desk keeps printed timetables and live arrival information on hand — first-time visitors to Penghu are encouraged to stop in.
