Wen’ao (Yuen Tai, Best Western) Station is the primary hub connecting Penghu Airport with central Magong City. Three routes serve this station — the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Penghu Airport Express (0167) linking the airport to the city center, the Magong–Huxi Line (0164), and the Magong–South Penghu Line (0165) covering the city and southern loop. Passengers arriving from the airport can continue into the city here or transfer onward to Huxi, Baisha, and beyond. The station sits adjacent to Yuen Tai and Best Western hotels, making it the fastest transfer point for airport passengers entering the city.
Location
Wen’ao Station is at 477 Xindian Road, Magong City (northeastern Magong), with a basic shelter on the east side of the road. Yuen Tai and Best Western hotels are directly adjacent, with convenience stores nearby. The Xindian Road commercial strip is about a 5-minute walk; central Magong’s business district is roughly 10 minutes on foot. To reach Magong Harbor or the Minzu Road shopping area, transfer to city routes 0164 or 0165 here — approximately 5–10 minutes away.
Travel Tips
Airport Express 0167: Operates on a fixed schedule, with approximately 15–20 minutes travel time from the airport to this station. To continue into the city center, transfer at Magong Harbor Station. The last departure is around 8:00–8:40 PM; allow plenty of time.
City Routes 0164 / 0165: The Magong–Huxi and Magong–South Penghu lines are the main Magong city routes. TDX open data currently lists only the route endpoints and operator (Penghu County Public Bus and Ferry Management Office) and does not include per-trip timetables; in winter (October–March), northeast monsoon winds often cause 5–15 minute delays.
