#141920 — Bus hub stop

Wen'ao (Yuen Tai, Best Western) Station

澎湖縣馬公市新店路477號對面

Wen’ao Station sits on Xindian Road in Magong City, Penghu County. It is the convergence point for three major bus routes: the Magong North Loop Line (0162), Magong–Huxi Line (0164), and Magong–Pengnan Line (0165), making it an important transfer hub for Magong’s urban area. The stop primarily serves commuters and residents traveling between Magong City and Huxi Township or the Pengnan area, as well as guests staying at nearby hotels. Afternoon services are particularly frequent, making it a convenient option for connecting between different parts of Penghu and Magong City.

Location

The shelter at Wen’ao Station is located opposite 477 Xindian Road. It is a simple covered stop with clearly posted route signs. The stop is close to Yuantai Hotel and the Best Western Hotel, with good access to nearby commercial facilities. From here, Magong Bus Terminal is roughly a 5-minute walk and serves as the main node for connecting to other routes. The Zhongzheng Road historic shopping street and main commercial district are about 10 minutes on foot; Magong Harbor and Tianhou Temple are around 15 minutes away. Passengers traveling between Magong City and Huxi Township or the Pengnan area frequently transfer between Wen’ao Station and Magong Bus Terminal.

Riding Tips

Always confirm the route number before boarding. All three routes — Magong North Loop Line 0162, Magong–Huxi Line 0164, and Magong–Pengnan Line 0165 — depart from the same shelter, so check the route sign carefully before you get on. The last buses on most routes run between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, though exact times vary by route; use the real-time panel on this page for the latest schedule. In winter, strong northeast monsoon winds can cause delays, particularly on services to and from the Pengnan area — allow extra waiting time.
