Aimen Roundabout is the main transfer point in Huxi Township for services to and from Magong. Four routes converge here, carrying commuters and visitors between Magong, Taiwu, Qingluo, Longmen, and surrounding areas. The stop is particularly well known as the gateway to Aimen Village’s float-ball art community — many travelers ride the bus here and walk into the village to see the creative murals and public art installations that have revitalized this fishing settlement, making it a key hub for leisure travelers and local commuters across Penghu.
Location
The bus stop is at the corner of the roundabout on Aimen Village’s main road, with a basic shelter and clearly marked route signs. The Aimen community is within a 5-minute walk, where the float-ball art walls and traditional fishing-village guesthouses are concentrated. Walking 20 minutes north brings you to the intertidal zone and a secluded sandy beach at Siping Bay; heading south along the main road leads deeper into the smaller settlements of Huxi Township. The area is quiet and sparsely populated, ideal for travelers seeking a peaceful fishing-village atmosphere.
Travel Tips
The 4 routes at Aimen Roundabout are divided into loop services (0767, 0774) and bidirectional services (0763, 0768); confirm your route’s terminus before you board. During winter’s northeast monsoon season, services toward the eastern side occasionally run 10–15 minutes late. If you plan to visit the float-ball art village, avoid midday when temperatures peak — morning or late-afternoon trips are more comfortable. Most last buses depart after 20:00; check the current timetable in advance to ensure you have a return service to Magong.
