Tanbian Extension stop

Tanbian Outer is a key transfer point on the Penghu West Ring Line, serving multiple routes from Magong to Wai-an Fishing Port and Tongliang Banyan. The stop is situated near traditional farming and fishing settlements and is used regularly by local commuters, as well as visitors arriving by car or bus to explore west coast attractions.

Location and Surroundings

Tanbian Outer is on the western side of Penghu’s main island, approximately 20–30 minutes by bus from central Magong. The surrounding area is typical Penghu rural scenery — low-rise farmhouses, windbreak tree belts, seasonal vegetable fields, and the coastline in the distance. The stop is a convenient access point for two of the west coast’s most visited destinations: Wai-an Fishing Port and Tongliang Banyan.
